Birkhill Castle luxury corporate retreat near St Andrews in Fife

Birkhill Castle is a stunning building on the banks of the River Tay set within 1500 acres of Scottish woodland, farmland and coastal areas. Built in 1780, it is the ancestral home of the Earl of Dundee and his family who, until recently, used the castle as their family home.

Despite the fact that Birkhill Castle is steeped in history and grandeur, it offers a warm welcome when you step through the front door. Although the castle is now an exclusive holiday let business, there are plenty thoughtful touches to make this a luxury home from home.

We are in a perfect location as well to see some of Scotland’s finest sights. Only 20 minutes from St Andrews, an hour to Edinburgh and an hour and a half to the Cairngorm National Park, you can have a true Scottish experience.

The fantastic location of Birkhill Castle also offers keen golfers with a very unique opportunity. There are over 100 golf courses within an hours drive of the Castle including the Old Course in St Andrews, the championship courses at Gleneagles and Carnoustie.
